Shikira Johnson (known to many as Kira and Bird) was born to Charles and Geraldine Johnson on February 27, 1986, in Miami, Florida.
Shikira attended and graduated from Miami Carol City Senior High School Class of 2005. Shikira had a wonderful soul; she was compassionate with a kind heart and loved to keep the peace and was very outspoken. She had a love for children and enjoyed babysitting her niece, nephews, God-brothers, and God-sisters. After praying for a child, the lord blessed her with a smart, beautiful, and energetic baby girl. She enjoyed life and her baby girl became the center of her world. She loved being around family and friends and will often give advice. She enjoyed laughing, she smiled and laughed through her pain and never lost her faith in the lord.
On Sunday, April 16, 2023, Shikira lost her battle with breast cancer and was called home to rest with the lord.
Shikira leaves to cherish her memories, her parents Charles and Geraldine Johnson, her beautiful daughter Skylar Dream Johnson-Young, her brothers Charles Johnson Jr, Exzavier Johnson, and Zachary Johson, and her sister Shanice Johnson (Allen Byrant). Four nephews Lazarus White, Zachary Johnson Jr., and Allen Byrant Jr. One niece Za’rah Johnson. She shared a close bond with her cousin Emmanuel Hall. God-Mother Raina Kemp, God-Brother Theodore Bridgewater, Adonis Brown, and God-Sister Trinity Smith, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
