Lillie B. Mann

Lillie Bea Mann "aka" Tanzie was born on January 8, 1956 in Miami-Dade County, Florida to the late Otto and Bernice Mann. Most of us affectionately called her "Tanzie" because that was the nickname she was given as a child. She was educated in the Macon-County School System in Montezuma, Georgia. She graduated from D.F. Douglas High School in 1974 - "Go Hornets" After her high-school graduation she moved to Miami, Florida to live with her father for a short time. She attended North Georgia College in Dahlonega, Georgia. After attending College she moved back to Miami and began her career. Lillie had several jobs but worked mostly in the legal clerical field and ended her career as a legal assistant at a law firm in downtown Miami. She was on vacation beginning December 23, 2022 but did not make her return date back to work on January 3, 2023. Lillie was not affiliated with any particular denomination but she loved the Lord and spoke about how good God was to her. She believed in prayer and would pray with her co-workers for whatever their need was. Lillie had a big heart and was very generous in her giving. She was a kind person. She loved arts and crafts, sewing and definitely shopping. Lillie resided at Solano at Miramar in Miramar, Florida. We all know that she was a very private person and we all respected that. During her lifetime, she never married and had no biological children. Even though she had no children of her own, she was a mentor and mother to all the children who came into her life. She loved children and you could depend on her spoiling them with gifts. Lillie had a few medical issues and on January 4, 2023 she made an earthly transition and now she rests in peace. She leaves to cherish her memories, two sisters, Lucy Mann of Jacksonville, FL., Shirley Mann Christie (Al) of Miami Gardens, FL. and a host of nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, cousins and many devoted friends.
