Fredrick Peterson

Life's Journey Fredrick Eugene Peterson was born on August 5, 1960 to the late Dan & Willie Bell Peterson in Hollywood, Florida. He was affectionately known by his mom as "Bo-Jim", affectionately known by his siblings as "Wee Wee" and for those who knew him in the streets in Hallandale affectionately called him "Coupe de Graw". He attended C.A. Moore Elementary, McNichol Middle and Hallandale High School. Later on, he enlisted in Job Corps for about 4 months. Upon his return, he worked for I-Hop, Steak-N-Ale restaurants and Gulfstream Race Track. Later on in life, he met and married the love of his life, Catherine Watts. To that union, one child was born Lisa Diane Peterson; both preceded him in death. Down the years, his health began to fail him and continued to fail him. Fredrick answered the master's call and passed away peacefully at Cross Gardens Nursing Home in North Miami, Florida. He will truly be missed by all of us and his memories will forever linger in our hearts. Fredrick leaves to cherish his memories: 4 handsome grandsons, Tyler, Rashaud, Alex and Justin. He is survived by his loving siblings: sisters: Pastor Armie l. Tyson of West Park, FL; Jacqueline Sales (Willie) of Pembroke Pines, FL; Barbara Peterson of West Park, FL; and Retha Woodberry (Rick) of West Park, FL. brothers: Pastor Bobbie Peterson (Theresa) of Poinciana, FL and Jimmy Peterson of Lauderhill, FL; 2 sisters: Francis Williams of Valdosta, Ga; and Louise Frederick of Hollywood, FL; 2 brothers: Dan Peterson of Dania, FL and Edward Peterson of Hollywood, FL all preceded him in death. 1 uncle, Otis Washington (Ossie) of Miami, FL and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
