Being new members at St. James Missionary Baptist Church, we had not known Deacon Hepburn very long in actuality, but it really seems like we've known him a long time! That's because of the way he embraced us and made us feel so welcomed. Our Spirits bore witness with his Spirit that he was definitely one of God's Chosen Vessels. St. James has indeed lost a strong soldier, but his work here is done. He is now in the presence of the Lord; in that Great Day, we will see him again when we crown our Savior together! Continuing in prayer for the family's strength and comfort.

To the family of Phillip N. Hepburn: What a great man of God and born leader he was. Over the years, working with Phil as Chairman of the Trustee Board at St. James Missionary Baptist Church, he always displayed his best qualities no matter the situation. His patience, loyalty, respectfulness and negotiating skills were impeccable.
He is in God's care now and what better care could we ask for him to be. It is my prayer that you will continue to "Let God Lead You" which was what he expressed and exhibited in so many ways. We love and miss our brother and boss, Phil.
