Zuberi Alonge Floyd

Zuberi Alonge Floyd “which means strong tall skinny boy”, was born June 27, 1993, in Hollywood, FL to Patricia (Floyd) White and Terry Floyd.

Zuberi received his education within the Broward County Public Schools system attending Colbert Elementary, McNicol Middle and graduated from Hallandale High. While in high school, he played on the varsity basketball team. In 2011, he graduated and journeyed to college, attending Polk State College where he continued his love for basketball.

In 2012, Zuberi received Jesus as his Lord and Savior at the age of 19. Within that same year he was baptized at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church.

On April 25, 2023, Zuberi Alonge Floyd, transitioned to his eternal home, to a land that is free from sorrow and pain where he will forever be with the Lord.

Zuberi was preceded in death by his grandmother: Martha White; grandfathers: Luster D. Floyd, Sr. and Randall White, Jr.; brother: Gabriel Floyd, Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving mother: Patricia White; a loving father: Terry Floyd; loving sisters Jackie and Rashida Floyd, sister/cousin Shonesse Graham; his aunts and uncles: Brenda Lewis, Gwendolyn A. Cunningham, Willie J. Floyd, Sr. (Nina), Berlinda A. Tucker (Newell), Belinda White, Randall White, III. (Alicia); nieces and nephew: Brianna, Mariah, Gabriel Jr., Ra’ Nylah, Charlotte, and Ariel, loving godmothers: Janice Williams and Wilma Seabrooks; and a host of cousins, family, and friends.
