Calvert Manuel Ventura "Ziebo"

I WAS HERE AND I DID IT MY WAY!

Calvert Manuel Ventura, aka as “Ziebo” was born on December 23, 1966 to his loving parents Mildred Didder and Carlos “Bilo” Ventura on the island of St. Croix. He was loved by all who came in contact with his welcoming aurora and warm contagious smile.

He spent his early years up until high school in St. Kitts with his grandmother Monica Matthew, his cousin Carlotta Belle, his 2 brothers, Juan Carlos Ventura aka “Carl”, Joseph Ventura aka “Tumpa” and his 3 sisters Verna Belle aka “Jay”, Amver Gumbs aka “Lize” and Sabina Didder aka “Bena”.

One of the many memories that stuck until this day is we would go to schoolroom garden party with our dollar bill and you will always come back with your money because you would get everyone to feed you. You were always the most obedient child out of carl and Tumpa.  He would go to the disco with Cota and try to leave the disco when our grandmother would come looking for us with a bottle, because we were too young to be out and about. 

He also has 1 brother in St. Croix by the name of Carlos Ventura Jr. aka “Carlito” and his sisters, Laura Fabio, Carmen Rivera aka “Lilly”, Maria Ventura aka “Rosario”, Sylvia Ventura aka “Cuchu”. He then moved back to his birthplace with his father and stepmother Carmen Ventura. He went to St. Kitts for vacation where he met his now wife Cynthia. They moved to Miami where he spent his final days surrounded by his loved ones.                                       

Ziebo was called home to his father on August 4, 2023 and is survived by his wife and soulmate Cynthia F. Ventura, his mother Mildred, his daughter Kaiesha Ventura, his 3 sons Kymani Ventura, Jomani Ventura and Shilo Ventura, his sisters Jay, Lize, Bena and his brother Carl, his grandkids Erriana Ventura and Nahla Ventura.  His many nephews, nieces, cousins, life-long friends, coworkers and those who came in contact with him who love him.
