Pauline Headlam

With profound sadness and loving remembrance, we celebrate the life of Pauline Headlam, a devoted mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, caregiver, and friend whose life was marked by service to others and unwavering love for her family. Born on March 5, 1954, in Kingston, Jamaica, Pauline later made the United States her home. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to caring for others, a calling that became both her profession and her passion. Pauline spent many years providing care and support to those in need. Her commitment to helping others ultimately led her to become a Certified Nursing Assistant at Memorial Regional Hospital where she took great pride in her work. She found fulfillment in caring for her patients and was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. Above all else, Pauline loved her family. Her beloved son, Clive Wallace, was the center of her world and the pride of her life. The bond they shared was one of deep love and devotion. She also cherished her grandchildren, Rashidi Wallace and Zakiya Wallace, and took great joy in being a grandmother. In recent years, she was especially blessed by the arrival of her great-grandson, Rashidi Wallace, Jr., whose presence brought another generation of love to her family. Pauline will be remembered for her resilience, her dedication to caregiving, and the many lives she touched through her compassion and service. Whether caring for patients, supporting loved ones, or offering a helping hand, she approached life with a spirit of service that left a lasting impression on those around her. She leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Clive Wallace; daughter- in-law, Alisha Wallace; grandchildren, Rashidi Wallace and Zakiya Wallace; great-grandson, Rashidi Wallace, Jr.; and dear friends, former colleagues, and all whose lives were touched by her care and kindness. Though she has departed from this earthly life, her memory will live on through the family she loved, the people she cared for, and the countless moments she shared with those closest to her. Forever loved, forever remembered, forever missed.
