Our Deepest Condolences to you and your family!
Tears If tears could build a stairwell and memories were a lane, I would walk right up to Heaven and bring you home again. No farewell words were spoken no time to say good-bye . You were gone before I knew it, and only God knows why. My heart still aches in sadness, and secret tears still flow. What it means to lose you, no one will ever know. Anonymous~
Those we Love remain with us,
for Love itself lives on.
Cherished memories never fade,
because a loved one is gone.
Those we Love can never be,
more than a thought apart.
For as long as there is a memory,
they’ll live on in our heart.

John was my 7th grade science teacher and later became my brother-in-law. He and my sister were married for 53 years.
John was an outstanding example of a christian, gentleman, and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He had a profound love for family.
My heart hurts because I have lost a brother. You will be missed and I cannot imagine family gatherings without you!!!

To The Saunders Family,
I am terribly saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. John T. Saunders. Not only have our family ties spanned over 100 years, Mr. Saunders has served well beyond some of our high school Assistant Principal. He was a role model, Godfather, Uncle, loved one and has been a part of myself and my siblings lives from the time we were born. Whenever my Husband and I would come to S. Florida, we would usually attend St. Anne’s for Sunday service, where both my Great-Grandfather and Mr. Saunders Father are two of the Founding Fathers of St. Anne's Episcopal Church, founded in 1914.
It was not very long ago that we attended St. Anne's and seated right behind us was Mr. Saunders, who since I was a young girl, always provided a warm embrace. It still makes me laugh to think of how he would still; occasionally, call me one of my Sister’s names, which he has done he did since we were young girls. I can still recall memories of me and my siblings going to his house running and playing on the front yard, when he still lived in Hallandale so many decades ago. Even after he and his family moved away, and we no longer saw him in school, and as we went from children to adults, I continued to see Mr. Sanders almost once or twice every year up until now. In the past few years, I’ve even had an opportunity to take a few pictures of him, as he would often take pictures of others and I am sure at least one or more of me.
To The Saunders Family, thank you for being our family. Many of you fellowshipped and worshipped with our Great-Father and our Grandmother and over the years, you have continued to share your love for them with us.
Rest in Peace Mr. John T. Saunders
You will be missed!
With Love, Jill Osborne Patrick

It is with deep regret that I hear of Mr Saunders' passing! I had the privilege of working with him for many years and he was always a gentleman, leader and amazing human being. There were many opportunities to work together with him in different school projects and activities, such as the International Fair where he demonstrated his concern for all students under his care and leadership. He was firm, while at the same time had a great sense of humor.
"Mr. Saunders, it was a great privilege working with you"! May you Rest In Peace!

One of the best science instructors ever! He served on the Hallandale City Commission with distinction, and a good frat brother. While attending the wake of another classmate, I had just gotten off I-95 , to show my respect and had on the fraternity shirt, when he came over to me and said that's a pretty good organization, at which we both smiled because he too was an Alpha.
